I was delighted to attend the Mental Health Strategy Stakeholder Event, with over 80 others, today as we develop the 10 year MH Strategy for NI.
I loved that we were encouraged to think BIG and asked to consider “What can we do to develop world leading MH services here?”
As you can imagine, I raised Specialist PMH Services, MBU, Co-Production, Early Intervention, Clear Pathways & that Mental Health care should be holistic & person-centred.
I found it such an encouraging few hours and I’m hopeful that this can and will make a difference in lives here.
